Our Remembrance range gallery.
With the launch of our business in September this year, I wanted to add additional designs/pages with specific meanings. We start with Remembrance, to honour those who lost their lives during war. Those that had a choice, human beings and those that did not, animals and birds.
The purple poppy honours the lives of the millions of animals and birds who died supporting humankind through the horrors of war. They could not have comprehended what war was about, simply doing what they were told, suffering alongside their comrades.
The black poppy specifically commemorates the black, African, and Caribbean civilians and Service men and women lost to war.
The red poppy represents mourning and serves as a pledge that war should never happen again. Amen to that. It can also mean peace in death, resurrection and eternal life.
